Pandy Fackler was a working girl
Living alone in another world
Of picket fences and a white fa?ade
Sucking dicks under the Promenade
She was almost in a coma - from doing the Bossa Nova
And the Funky Cold Medina - man, I wish you coulda seen her
Poor little Pandy is doing the best she can
Eating cotton candy from the garbage can
First to come and the last to go
I met her backstage after the 2nd show
Two lonely people on a summer night
We weren't in love but it was still alright
I held her close and she squeezed me tight - my Pandy!
(solos)
***Version 2 by Conor O'Malley
I was checking out the Pandy Fackler submission, and although all the riffs
are perfect, the verses ain't. All the chords in the verses should be
sevenths (except D and Em). I use the 'thumb on E string' style maj/m 7 if
the root is on the E string. Here are my chord boxes.
Gmaj7 Cmaj7 Am7
E--2--- ---3--- ---5---
B--3--- ---5--- ---5---
G--4--- ---4--- ---5---
D--4--- ---5--- ---5---
A--x--- ---3--- ---x---
E--3--- ---x--- ---5---
~During the verse, Mig quickly slides the chord shapes of Gmaj7 and D up
from 1 semitone lower(listen to it!)
~During the chorus/instrumental break whatever you want to call it, the
chords go to the dominant majors...eg G and C and the riff is played around
these chords
Oh yeah, this is the little riff at the start of each verse
E--17-17-17-17-17-17-17p/o14----------------------
B-----------------------------15------------------
G--------------------------------16---------------
D-------------------------------------------------
A-------------------------------------------------
E-------------------------------------------------
